Was going through a roll of 1990P LMC I set to the side and found this interesting one. Looks like die polishing around the mouth and neck. Then the raised feature in the mouth. When looking through Traildies.com and reading the information section to the left "Trail Die Oddities" I saw a description about Lincoln's mouth on the reverse for 1999P-1DER-049T called "cigar." Thought it was fitting to apply this term for this obverse variety, since I have not seen this anywhere else.

I believe it is a die line Tacc. Based on the feature being raised and the area around the mouth appears to be polished. Here are two pics shifting the light to create shadows.

The "cigar" is a linear trail gas bubble IMHO.

Hey John. If this is the case then if I touch it with a tooth pic I should be able to penetrate it correct?

Likely a linear plating bubble--not 100% certain. Many plating bubble features can be 'collapsed' with a toothpick, some cannot.

Do appreciate all the feedback on this one.
I grab another pic at an angle and it has some interesting details.

If there is any hint of gray, it could be a split plating issue. If it gives with pressure, it a gas bubble.
