What going on here? Looks like a garden snake is slithering from Lincoln's left eyebrow up his forehead. What's happening here anybody's thoughts

@reno, that is kinda odd. With the amount of circulation wear visible elsewhere on this coin, my best guess is damage plus Pareidolia.

Without seeing the entire coin it seems like it is due MD. I've seen a number of Lincolns with this.

Full, large and sharp pics of the obverse and reverse would be very welcome.

Spencer you were correct partially about the Illusion. But the illusion only is for the head of the snake. When magnified you can actually see that there's some kind of ding I'll call it more machine mark just slightly on hitting what looks like the head. Sadly I'm not able to capture it without it being blurry. The Squiggly line is actually raised above the coin planchet . I think something may have gotten on it . You terribly sorry about the photos. I'm not very good at this kind of thing. OK under the weather today thanks so much bye

It can be difficult to capture the right photo Reno. Here is a thought, try using your device (hope it is a scope) and capturing the image at night in a room without incoming light. Now you have a baseline to work from with your device. This is actually what I have planned for tonight. I'll capture before and after and share tomorrow.
Good luck!
