I made 2 different Buy it now purchases on Ebay. One was for a mint sealed box of 10 1966 SMS, the other a mint sealed box of 10 1967 SMS. They were $89.99 each, both from the same seller. When they arrived today, the package contained 2 boxes of 1966 (no 1967). I know of 2 varieties of Kennedy halves found in the 1966 SMS sets (A DDO & No FG). Anybody know of any varieties found in 1967 SMS (which might persuade me to return a 1966 and get the 1967 assuming seller still has it). I know I paid a good price because the next boxes he sold went quickly at $139.99, so I'll end up keeping these anyhow if he's out of 1967's.

I'm not familiar with the 1967 SMS - but sending along my best of wishes for your search through whatever you decide to keep.

My suggestion would be to go to Variety Vista and scroll through the different denominations for 1967.

I randomly picked Washington quarters and found two in the 1967 SMS sets. One was an FS variety.
Here is the link.

Best of luck whichever way you decide.

EDIT- I just checked some of the other denominations and yes, there are many varieties in the 1967 SMS.
(What I didn't check was whether there were any varieties in the 1966 SMS to see if there was a reason to keep them.)

Be sure to check your sets for any "ultra cameo" coins. They go for big money in high grades.
