Hello, I have a 2001 Lincoln cent, not a Wheat cent. It has no mint mark, the FG on the reverse. But I also have a VDB on the obverse at the bottom of Lincoln sleeve. All I have found was 1909 was the only vdb coin. Any input on this would be great

While we do request pictures of coins people are asking about, almost all years of the Lincoln cent have the VDB on right where you see yours. 1909 was the only year it was on the back and bottom of the REV side.

I can add that with Earle42 on the 1909 Wheat cent has the VDB on the bottom reverse on some, due to issues back then, those initials were removed entirely until 1918 when they were put on by the shoulder of Lincoln for the rest of the series.

All Lincoln cents were made with a VDB on Lincoln's shoulder since 1918.
The mint has recently made the initials more "visible".
