2001 Lincoln Cent Has VDB - Coin Community Forum

Ckenn10 New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 04/03/2023 05:04 am Hello, I have a 2001 Lincoln Cent, not a Wheat cent. It has no mint mark, the FG on the reverse. But I also have a VDB on the obverse at the bottom of Lincoln sleeve. All I have found was 1909 was the only vdb coin. Any input on this would be great Report this Post to the Staff

mrwhatisit Pillar of the Community United States 2951 Posts	Posted 04/03/2023 06:50 am I can add that with Earle42 on the 1909 Wheat cent has the VDB on the bottom reverse on some, due to issues back then, those initials were removed entirely until 1918 when they were put on by the shoulder of Lincoln for the rest of the series.
