Hello,

I know this is not the type of item usually posted on these forums but I thought some ancient coin collectors may be able to help...

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Here's a quick collage of others for comparison. These are often made of lead.

Yes 100% agree. My first thought was a mirror too.

Thank you all!

That was much quicker and more definitive than I thought it would be.

@kamn it is a Roman mirror or otherwise?

I have one, made of lead, 7.3cm across, some lead is missing but surprisingly much of the reflective glass or mica still intact.

Thank you all!

It is priced at 80 euro right now, but will discount in a few weeks. I may wait and see. Like many things like this in Rome, it is labeled 'reproduction'.

That's the headpiece to the Staff of Ra!! You can use it to find the Ark of the Covenant.
