So here's one of my coins that shows a bit of the chocolate color that looks a little strange to me. Got a good price on what I think is an XF-45 coin, so I bought it anyway. Opinions?

Same coin, 3 entirely different representions of the color.

Yeah, lighting is definitely a challenge for me. This is just moving the light position. First and last pictures are probably best representative of the coin's appearance in hand - first picture in particular.

Third obverse pic looks like a normal AU cent with slight ED issues.

Color looks normal to me for a higher circulated grade IHC.

I think you're right at XF-45. It could even make AU.

i'd call this one AU50. reverse corrosion, good chance it details

Not a coin worth TPG, so I'm not terribly concerned about that bit of corrosion, but thanks for the opinions.

right...not worthy of slabbing even if it graded straight. hopefully those areas stay put for you
