Hi All,

I'm still not very good at identifying Double Die versus Machine Doubling.

Help is much appreciated.

I'm very new to coin hunting and I've noticed most of my quarters that are still in good shape have this 3 ridged edge under close magnification. I think that's how it's suppose to look

Machine Doubling or Die Deterioration. Just my opinion.

I agree, not a DDO, but Die Deterioration Doubling.

Meandice,
Not a doubled die and it is called a doubled die not a double die. Your white balance looks out of adjustment also.
I am thinking it is either MD or DDD.
