Unfortunate fingerprint "damage". That may have been why it was returned to circulation.

lol I definitely agree with you on that one. Unfortunately that's how I found it. Other than that and a small amount of wear on the reverse I think it's in really well condition for being circulated.

It's unfortunate about the fingerprint, but still a nice find. I would still keep it, since it's a Wheat cent.

No, no light enhancing it. Honestly I was shocked when I seen it. At first I thought it was a newer penny until I seen the date and along with that the unfortunate fingerprint. It's in almost uncirculated condition except for a small amount of wear on the reverse at the top in E PLURIBUS.
