Thought I'd throw this 1798 large cent I like to carry around out for grading opinions. Any chance it would straight grade?

I'll say Good details, Environmental Damage. Your coin is also showing a Cud (Major Die Break), on the obverse. Not sure if you noticed, so I pointed it out. https://cuds-on-coins.com/The

I'd say VG details with corrosion on the surfaces. No chance it would straight grade. The variety is S-153 if you're interested.

VG Details - But, for being a full date 1798, I like it!

The coin has corroded surfaces and no way will it straight grade.

Obviously dug and environmental damage. Still I would slap in in a 2x2 or some other safe storage before making it a pocket coin. Worth treasuring in my eyes.
