Found this one with a large gash on the top that goes over the top of the ES then under the O. Thoughts

I am thinking damage because it wiped out the top of the E.

An interesting linear mark on this coin though. I agree that mechanical damage seems most likely. As it was creating the gouge, it got stick a little on the left edge of the letter O before proceeding to the space between the letters O and F.

Yes it's incuse and not raised. Looks like it was on the coin before it was struck and because it's under some letters it can't be PMD.

PMD, just a little less pressure on the right side or it would have taken out the top of the O also.
