@wro, as it kinda seems like the doubling is on both sides of the letters, I strongly suspect Longacre doubling.

Spence beat me to it. Longacre Doubling is common on Indian Head cents.

I am always confused when it comes to repunched dates and DDO and DDR.
A lot of times it is Strike Doubling. Since the date has an imprint all around the numbers, I think it is Strike Doubling. The reverse looks similar. I would like to see what others think.
