Hello,
I just need to know what they call the texture of this coin. I have a 1951 d and 1950 (cant make out mm to blurred) and an 1981 (cant make out mm)
but here is an example. I would really appreciate it, I can't find a description or anything relative on website

Thank you
Jenn

to the CCF

It will help us to help you if you can please crop your photos to remove all unnecessary background, then rotate the coin so it appears in the proper orientation.

This coin has been damaged somehow. The surfaces (texture as you say) are not natural. I'm going to need larger and better focused photos to say more than that.

Could be fire damage, but hard to know other than this cent didn't leave the mint looking like this.

Something has been applied to this coin, like grease, paint, oil whatever. Now it is just damaged.

They may have been exposed to an acidic environment and 'lost' metal as a result. Accurate weights to two decimal places might tell us more.
