Looks like some kind of gunk, rather than a Lamination.

Quite possibly glue, containing the reversed image of a cent that was stuck to this nickel.

i also wrote the tnec down the way I see it and I can't make it say cents no matter how I rotate it or flip it. if its another coin impression shouldnt it be legible? the n is backwards the t is upside down? or something like that

As mentioned above there's a foreign substance on your coin it most likely will desolve if you soak it in Aceton.

Coins are struck, not printed. It might come off if you give it a soak in 100% pure acetone.

Yes, suggest a 100% acetone soak--can't hurt, and may improve the accuracy our our assessments.

to CCF.

someone put glue on this coin then another one on top of the glue, let it dry and then took them apart. - that is hoe some of the letters are backwards.

Coins glued toagther then taken apart. Wording left backwards in glue.

When you understand the minting and die making process you will understand it is totally impossible for words to end up backwards when coins are being made. Any backwards lettering is always a result of post mint alteration.

Technically, the word CENT isn't backwards. It's mirrored. Hold a cent up to the mirror, and that's how the word will look. Same if you push it into silly putty or Play Doh. Or in this case, pushing it into transparent goop like glue or whatever substance is stuck to your coin.
