Nice-looking album! Do you have the 2020-W Proof & Reverse Proof, or the Frosted Matte Uncirculated issues of 1994-P and 1997-P?

A very nice collection of nickels, and well presented in that album. =)

Excellent looking nickel Dansco Album! I have always wondered why Dansco added the proofs starting at 1971 in stead from the beginning... I see that you have a label maker to finish off the last page. Depending on what type of label maker you are using, you should be able to get label tape that is clear with black ink.

Quote: I took a break from organizing my cent collection to update a Dansco nickel binder that I started many years ago. All the coins are uncirculated and most are BU. Using a blank page, I extended the dates through 2017 and filled the remaining blank holes with "special" nickels like the SMS and reverse cameo proof. An outstanding album!

Quote: I have always wondered why Dansco added the proofs starting at 1971 in stead from the beginning... Look at the binder... including proof-only issues. 1968-S, 1969-S, and 1970-S were not proof only, just as all the Philadelphia holes before 1965. I am not saying it is right, just what they did.

The logic about proofs seems reasonably consistent. If they included Philadelphia struck proofs, then it adds 1938-1942 and 1950-1964. Also SMS from1965-1967, and the aforementioned San Francisco proofs with S mint mark from 1968-1970.
It probably would have been reasonable to go back to 1950, but the 1938-1942 block is relatively expensive, and I'm not sure you'd want expensive proofs in an exposed album.

By the way, the 8166 Kennedy half dollar album is the only one that breaks the proof-only rule. It has a separate hole for the 1964 Proof, as well as separate holes for the 1965-1967 SMS coins.
