A reasonable Stage D specimen of 1943-S/S 10¢ RPM-001 FS-501. Coin was sold as BU, but I would call it a relatively attractive AU/XF with some small condition issues. Die gouge above the dot separating Of and America is present.

Thanks, guys. =)

Anyone have insightful suggestions on what to do about those corrosion spots? I am in the default state of Leave It Alone, but I don't have much experience with blue corrosion on silver coins.

Myself, a few minutes in acetone and then an airtite. I "played" @ with this type of corrosion on an early Unc Jeff nickel (along the rim and between the devices) once the corrosion was removed, I didn't like the look that was under it. (looked rusty and black) Can't remember if I spent it or if it's in one of my "misc. coin" jars.
