By now, most of you have probably read my post about the yucky 1998 WAM (Good News-Bad News 1998 WAM.) Well I found another one worse than that one so I decided to experiment with removing the offending gunk. I tried an acetone soak, hot water soak, vinegar soak, ammonia soak and alcohol soak. Then I had a really stupid ideaHow about burning it off. Here are the results

I can probably put it on ebay as a newly found ancient coin with Lincolnesius on the obverse and the Parthenon on the reverse

I created this instant classic with a propane torch and some stupidity. Otherwise I would still have a 1998 WAM grading crappy 3
