I'll say XF 40. I see wear on the eagles chest, the hairlines, and the cap.

This coin looks like it has been polished, I'm going to say VF-35.

All considered, XF-45, it has pretty much the usual wear for a circulated coin, plenty of scratches, a ding or so, and ANNA'S face is scarred and the fields on the obverse, are, well, banged up well, not to mention the lack of luster....Still a key date coin worth more than 300.00 at that grade.

i agree that's a lot of scratches. I didn't expect that's better than xf40. that's what I paid for and won't be mentioned the price here.

VF-35 would be my guess if it went to a TPG (might even come back in a "genuine" holder). Very nice coin. I also agree that it appears from the pics to have been cleaned. Just doesn't look all that natural compared to most Morgan's coming out from circulation after 100+ years. IMO

What he said. You guys hit all the wear spots and the Reverse actually graded higher to me. But, a single side does not, a coin make, Grasshopper.

I say 40. Yes its been polished but the polishing does not detract from the grade
