Let me get home, off my near-dead Droid, and see it on a big monitor. We'll see if we can attribute it to a known VAM first.

Yeah, neat break Russ. Does the crack come out on the lower side of either wing, or does it stop at the device?

Quote: I have this as a Vam-4 near date and everything seems to match Humpff... get our excitement level up, feed us a few pictures (mainly of one side of the coin), let us drool and frantically research for only a few short minutes..... and then coolly announce that it is vam-4...... not very nice Russ, and if you think that I am going to hand out dancing fruit for all of that, you are crazy.... (super neat coin though bud).... okay.... one fruit, ( but that is it).

A Horned O. On a 1900. And a Horned S. *Slap.* I haven't even looked into the known 1900 VAMs - wrong time of the night to get me into that - but my opinion hasn't changed. Get us a full-face reverse, let's try and VAM it from a known variety, and we'll go from there.

Or not. You already posted this elsewhere; let them decide.

Yeah, it's early in the morning or late at night and I'm exhausted so I will throw some vams out there,
Zeewool, I think twohawks is messing with with you, this is not a 1900-O, in reality this is a 1921-D die crack. I'm really tired so I'm not going to fully attribute it.
it is one of these: 1921-D VAM-1V, 1921-D VAM-1M, or a 1921-D LDS VAM-1F
(the 1900 obverse is not the same coin as the reverse die break shown, twohawks is messing with around)
