I need the three... 1909-S VDB, 1914-D, and 1922-D "Plain" (no-D, weak-D).

Ninamason, that sounds great! With Christmas I'm a little strapped for cash. It'll have to wait til after.

Jaymon--no problem! You know where to find me I don't have any keys, etc. but you'd be shocked what still comes through my cash drawer (of course, the words "cash drawer" should also clue you in to what a lot of my 1910's and 1920's dups look like . . . I have a 1911 worn almost smooth).

Most all my Lincolns came from circulation and some years I have lost focus only to start searching for missing examples again in change. For some reason I am short a 1987, and all four 2009 Lincolns from Philadelphia. I don't consider the 1922 plain a real issue so the only wheat I am missing is the king 1909 s vdb.

Still missing the 1909s vdb. I know why but 1000 bucks for a coin near a half million mintage just seems like a bit to much

Done; date and mint mark. Some varieties, but only as it tickles my fancy.

I have examples from all three mints for both wheat and memorial series (no proofs - the S mint memorial is an 1972). Also from all the decades from the 1900s to date (yeah, that includes an 1909 and a 2011). I highly doubt I'll ever be anywhere near close to completing the wheat set by date maybe (and even that's unlikely as I'd need an 1922-D... but otherwise I'm about half done). Copper memorials could be doable (minus proofs) but too much hassle, and I probably won't care enough about zinc ones (though I did get a few of these as unneeded change from American friends; between that and what my father gave me from his collection I'm also about half done here - ignoring proofs of course).

Im not much of a cent collector so I can't bring myself to spending more than $10 on a penny. So I'm missing 1909-S VBD 1909-S 1910-S 1911-S 1912-S 1913-S 1914-S 1915-S 1922-D 1922 (Plain) 1924-D 1931-S

I only have the Lincoln Cent set from 1940-1980 in a whitman album, but the album is just about finished, other than the obverse of a steelie.

About 5 years ago, I decided to complete the Lincoln set that I started as a child. As a kid, I filled the holes in my Whitman folder with common dates in Very Good to Fine condition. Now these coins are in a Dansco along with new acquisitions in better condition. There are still nine spaces yet to fill: 1911 S, 1912 S, 1921 S, 1926 S, 1931 S, 1932, 1933, 1933 D, and 1938 D.
