At least the photos are high res digitals so they must be great photos. Ignore the blurriness and color it's not the photos it's your eyes.

Yes, plated, polished coin with extra dates punched into the obverse by someone with some extra time on their hands.

Unless you are old enough to remember the day of Kennedy's assassination, you might never understand
the emotions felt by the people of the US and people around the world. Everyone was eager to collect whatever had his face on it, from the halves to the stamps to the vast amount of junk produced by marketeers.
This plated, counter stamped half was perhaps done on the 20th anniversary of his being sworn in as president.

Inaugurated in January 1961, died in November 1963

Counter stamped 1960...1980

..and on a 1984 half
