I received a nice lot of high grade Lincoln Cents and am asking opinions on the grades for several of them to see if it worth the cost to send them to NGC. The first is this 1931 Lincoln Cent. Paul Bulgerin

Very nice, not sure if the true color is coming through on your pictures. 66RD or RB, an easy, minimum 65 with any TPG.

The coin is a bright copper color with some streaks of red on the reverse and above Lincoln's head, a bit like a halo. They are the darker areas on the coin. I'm not sure if a TPG would call it red or red and brown, but it sure is lovely.

Awesome. There's an unfortunate hit on the O in one. MS-65.

I think SHAFTA9a got it right; MS-64RD. That's one very nice coin.

Ditto with BadThad - 65 all day long. 66 is VERY possible with the superb fields and color.

Thanks for all the responses so far. I am definitely going to send this one to NGC. Since it only cost me $8.00 as part of a group of coins I don't think I can go wrong paying the grading and shipping fees.
