I was just trying to inform buyers that this type of errors are not worth close to the first selling price and the listing was a little untrue, with the 2005 non mag penny, talked to Eric from TCNC right after auction even he was amazed at the final price and the under bidder asked him to find another one, next few days another showed up and he brokered it for around 18,000, we all at the time heard rumours that a GTA dealer had a wack of them, he even thought at most this coin was worth 3000.00 at the time, now we know the Coin show guy is selling many graded units for 2500.00 and up, you just have to get informed. I bought a set of the big coin series I thought it was nicely done, but never expected the RCM to colour a version and overkill the theme. I also have no problems with flippers or dealers selling for what ever price as long as the listing is accurate, if you participate in auctions there is always a time where we all pay too much.

John, no need to explain yourself, your voice of experience is not whatsoever what I was referring to. It is what I perceive to be motivation beneath the double standard that I notice, pertaining to new RCM products (and possible errors) and critiquing (or celebrating) increases in their value.

Not really different, just 4 dollars per medallion more than they offered a couple years ago...

Of course, neither are actually minted by the Mint.

a quote from the other 2016 thread many days ago...

Quote:
Wouldn't surprise me the least bit if he/she returns it for a refund after seeing the price drop dramatically over the next few days for these packages
The Devil is in the detail for this sale.

A quote from this thread today...

I just noticed the first one out of the gate has been relisted, same seller, same serial number.

Has enough time passed for a cancelled sale or return. This is the risk selling for a high price, once prices start to decline. Selling is not without its risks! Like the member who sold a graded coin, customer cracked it out, now he wants to return coin. ebay selling isn't for the faint of heart, no real way to protect yourself, in a changing market.

The main problem with the first listing was the heading, one of a kind,
