Just received my 1915 Mercury dime from that Moonlight Mint. It is exactly like the add showed and I'm really happy with this. Can't wait to go to the next coin show and see how many Dealers know what it is. A little expensive and $10 for postage and handling.

Told you you'd like em carl. His work is top-notch. I do apologize to your wallet, however it is rare that a DC overstrike ever sells for below issue price in the aftermarket

Good call DE. Better get em while they're still available and "cheap" ie issue price.

Yes, Daniel Carrs work is amazing and he has quite a following. His 2015 'Octagon Owl' had a mintage of 95 pieces, price was $75.00. One just sold-quickly- on ebay for $400.00. I was fortunate that I checked his web site when he released the 2016 version of 125 peices. Sold out in an hour or so. www.moonlightmint.com

Nice purchase Carl. As Cascade wrote, it's rare to see a DC overstrike sell for anywhere near the issue price.(not that you would sell it or any other coin)

I bought one of the DC 15-S WL Half over strikes and one of the 15-D SL Qtr over strikes.... simply amazing and very happy .... even though my wallet wasn't!
