What a great looking coin, but I don't think I could ever spend that kind of money on a single penny. Like Jbuck said, I will take a lower grade for the Dansco.

I'm sorry, but the grade on this one is absurd. The strike is not even that good. there are nicks all over the shoulder and heavier ones on the reverse. Not to mention the color and spots. There is a reason PCGS slabs are often worth more than NGC slabs, perfect example.

I wouldn't kick it out of my album, but even price aside I don't like it because of the spotting.

It would make a down payment for a nice house.

Or a down payment on a Ferrari?
I like mine as is.

If you have any funds left over after purchasing your $40,810 1914-d cent, there is a nice PCGS MS67RD 1909-s cent available for $39,750.

Nope. To me that coin is too clean and good looking, meaning it's been sitting for over a hundred years. I like coins that are a little beat up and dirty from the hundreds of hands they've been in for the last 100 years.

I don't like the grade for all the nicks on the bust......although the fields look good.
