@08Blond. Yes I agree. I could have bought the completed album but it does take the fun out of it. Obviously finding Wheat pennies is not as easy since my experience has been finding 1-2 every other OBW penny roll. I too bought a bag of wheaties from
ebay, but I also bought single wheat rolls from
ebay. They are about $6 + shipping/free shipping. I usually buy the one that has an Indian head showing on either ends. I know those are made to order since there is usually a
Mercury dime as well (No way the bank would let one
Mercury dime slip into every penny roll). But I have had luck with some of these rolls. The best one so far had literally every single
Wheat penny, including the 1943 steel, with the "S" mint mark. This roll didn't have any Indian head nor
Mercury dime in it but I could tell it was also made to order. I guess the seller asked for all of them to be from San Francisco? This allowed me to complete my album since most of the wheat that I get is either P or D.
Last night I found my 100th 1943 steel penny, and the best looking PDS I have inserted in the album as you can see in the first picture of this thread.
Here are the status of my current albums
1) Lincoln 1941-1972 - Completed!!

BTW, I have at least 2-3 of each date so I can complete another album of the same date. *Just bragging

2) Jefferson 1962-1995 - Missing only the 1968-D and 1968-S.
2) Lincoln 1909-1940 - LOL! see it for yourself. I am laughing because I don't think I will be able to get this one done. Unless I spend a tremendous amount of money or get super lucky, I don't see myself finding the 1909-S VBD, 1909-S, 1914-D, 1931-S,.... I might have better chances of winning the lottery, which I would prefer actually.

Last night I got the 1917-S, 1920-S, 1939 D and S and 1940 D and S. The picture below is from 2 days ago.

3) Washington
State Quarters - I would say 80% complete. The ones missing are mainly "D".
4) Washington State Park - Missing only 2013 Fort McHenry, Maryland and 2016 Theodore Roosevelt, North Dakota.

5)
Roosevelt dimes - Yet to start....
I like to organize my coins first and then fill my albums while checking for errors.
