The dates were not in a good spot on this design and wore off before lots of the other detail did. Your coin was made in Philadelphia, and is not the 1913 type 1 design. There are a couple of cool threads on this site that can chemically restore a dateless coin. That would simply be if I remember right a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. Based on my experience, this is most likely a teens to early 20's dated, minted in Philadelphia. Report this Post to the Staff
