Is the crack going down at the W in WE and going down thru Lincoln's top of his skull!! Is that an actual valid error?

It is called a spike head and not an error. It is a die event.

your coin displays a very nice die crack - when the crack reaches the rim from the head, we call it a spiked head die event.
