Tell us the reason you posted this coin. What's the new error?

Looks like a die chip on the E in LIBERTY. No added value but good eye to spot it.

I'm trying to "teach" posters to reveal what they see but don't state.

Thanks for the pics, lawest. That looks to be what the OP's coin is too. With that many examples, I suppose we can rule out plating blisters. Cool finds!

Press down with a toothpick to see if it is a plating bubble? If it were a doubled die, then all other other devices would also look like that device. I'm not seeing that on your coin?

Unlikely two different coins would have the exact same plating bubble.

so Going back to the OP's coin, the start of a BIE on the 'E'. The second coin presented by Lawest a progression of that BIE.
Now Back to the OPs coin again - what is that dented in feature on Lincoln's head? Is it just the lighting or something else?

Quote: Now Back to the OPs coin again - what is that dented in feature on Lincoln's head? Is it just the lighting or something else? Seeing as how the OP's coin and lawest's coin are most probably from the same die, I would assume damage, PSD to the OP's coin, seeing how it's not on lawest's coin, at least with the pics provided, that's what I would guess.
