Okay, my friends. Many of the pictures I take are HUGE files.
So, they have to be resized and edited before posting as they are generally WAY over 300kb.
I'm on an Android phone and unfortunately, there is no easy way to do this without degrading the quality of the photo greatly, at least not as far as I know.
The best way to do this I've come across is to resize the picture via paint on my Microsoft PC. However, this obviously only works on a PC. It does not however degrade the quality of the image.
Do you guys know of any apps that are preferred that can resize and/or edit the size of image files so they can be used/uploaded on here without degrading the image quality?

If you are moving them to a PC, I'm a huge fan of ImageMagik - albeit it's a command line utility, with complex commands, it's scriptable.

I have an android as well and a camera hooked into my computer. When I use the cell phone I will send the pics to the computer and do all the work needed in Paint.net, it does every thing you need.

Yes, I get all this. The problem is, I only have limited access to a computer.
If there was a way I could do everything from my phone, that would be much more ideal without the need for a computer.
Is there a mobile app that I can use to resize images, without the need for a computer?

I don't have an Android phone, so I can't speak to the quality of Android apps, but Image Size and Adobe Photoshop Express have been around for a while.

I use my computer for pretty much everything. I use my android phone for pictures, have an app thats easy to use, then email to myself to get them to my computer. I'm old school and like my desktop. The app is called Compress Image (looks like it's by Double Ape) and I downloaded from Play Store. Easy to use, I select picture, go to manual and change size to 800 and 800 and save. My pictures upload to CCF every time. Its free so theres a couple second ad each time.
