Found this a while back. The color in the main images I sent is not accurate, the two angled photos show it more accurate to how it actually looks.

I unfortunately currently do not have a scale, I will try to get one soon.

I am unsure if this is either wrong, toning, or plating.
If it were a wrong planchet it would almost definitely be foreign.

I understand you all probably aren't able to give much advice without a scale reading.

Looks a bit brassy, maybe a bit off on the alloy mix but nothing crazy going on here, at least I don't think so.

We will need a weight to confirm 100%. Until we get the weight, there'll be only speculation.

The Philadelphia mint struck bronze coins for only 1 other country in 1963 or 1964:
Philippines 1 Centavo 1963: 3.08 g, 19mm. https://en.numista.com/5996
It would be hard to distinguish between a US Cent and a Philippines Centavo based on weight and diameter alone.
Here is a Philippines 1 Centavo from 1960 and the color is closer to a normal US cent than the one you pictured.

I think that your coin is a normal 1964 Lincoln Cent that has experienced adverse environmental effects and is discolored.

Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

The cent was harshly cleaned, I think that the cleaning or polishing brought out this brassy color.

Weight is 3.06, doesn't help since obviously within mint tolerance. There is a bit of luster in low areas within the Daye and liberty that does show that color, I agree it is probably polished or cleaned or damaged to bring out that brassy color. There are so many scratches in the field too. I will still keep since it looks cool.

I'm in agreement with Dearborn. Looks harshly cleaned. The weight is within mint tolerances.
