Really excited about this awesome hobby however, I need help as to where to buy at the best price on the Internet. I do live in southern California ( Orange County ) if any recommendations on great and fair shops around here.

I found a seller on ebay called fairtraderz and purchased a flying eagle (small print) in good condition for $21 and they were asking $30. I wonder if you feel that is a good price? I did some studying and seems it's worth $30-35 in good condition. I am not sure though?

it seems to me that - like anything else on the internet, "the best prices", vary from time to time and place to place. you probably have pretty good computer/internet skills, and are able to "shop" the internet and find your own "best prices". good luck - and have fun collecting.
Rest in Peace

You can buy coins on this site after you have contributed enough posts. A lot of people on this site buy and sell on ebay. If you have questions about a coin for sale you can ask the experts here for their opinions of the coin and the seller. Good luck.

I suggest you stick around here for a while and ask prices before you buy. Also, purchase a Red Book by Whitman Publishing but try to find one a few years old since the prices listed in that book are usually about 3 years ahead of reality.
There always seams to be a lot of members here from that State called California or something like that
Many shoud be able to tell you where there are coin stores and/or coin shows around you. A coin show would be one of the better places for coins.
A much better suggestion is to move to Illinois. No muc slides, forest fires, wierd people, smog, etc. Just lots of nice people like me. Just kidding. There must be at least one nice person there.

I have locked this topic as it is already being discussed here.

I understand your enthusiasm, but please only start one topic for a subject, okay?
