OBV: Tacitus right, IMP CL TACITVS AVG.
REV: Salus standing right feeding a snake, C/* in fields, SALVS PVBLICA

All beautiful coins, all "99% silvered", all from the same dies?, all from the same seller!

I cant get the dates of when they were sold but the only plausible explanation I can think of is that the came from a hoard - I would have expected the seller to have named the hoard or at least to have mentioned it in the item descriptions if this was the case.

They are all obviously struck and everything looks right about them to me - Am I just being too suspicious?

I see nothing wrong with the coins. It is evident that they came from the same dies and I would think the seller should have stated that. IMO that would put more money in his pocket from someone that wants coins from the same hoard and dies.

Thats exactly what I thought echizento - I bet some people would pay a huge premium to pick three matches up so easily. Even if they were sold separately a 'hoard' has a romantic ring to it that usually means $s.

They look right and do they do look suspiciously alike. If everything proves to be genuine, and I have no reason from these images to doubt anything, I would conclude they are from the same die. Out of curiosity, what was/is the asking price?

Im not really sure advertising the coins are from the same dies would bring in any additional money for the seller. Most collectors just want one of each type, be that a major difference - or a die difference. I think the coins are fine.

They went for $130, $135 and $180 - nice coins but perhaps not that nice.
