Interestingly enough, this is the shortest set I have ever completed, though it also happens to be the most expensive set. Anyways, I was going for a nice VF-XF look for the set, and I think that it is more or less achieved. Thoughts?

Outstanding. '56 could be VF. Yeoman's lists it over 10g. Littleton's even higher. Congrats. Well done, sir!

Not an easy set to complete. Nice going. I suppose you paid a small fortune for those.

Well since you got both the large and small 1858, seems to reason you might want to go the whole nine yards and finish off with the 1858/7 overdate? ;)

Wow they are beautiful! I need to get one of those. Might entertain the idea of a complete set. I'm just recently getting my hoard in books and albums. I been using the old style Whitman albums but after seeing the Dansco albums on this site I'm hooked! Thank you for the images they'll give me something to ponder while I'm cleaning the barn today! haha..

Very nice matched set of cents. These must be the highlight of your collection. Congratulations!
