I have seen a lot of CSI graded coins on ebay lately. Does anyone know how they rank among other grading companies? Most everything I see from them is MS66 or MS67 very few below that except for older style holders.

I bought a few coins that were slabbed by them and they seem to be about 3-5 grades high. But I didn't really get hurt by it because if it was listed at 66, I bid on it as if it were a 60 or 62. That way I was covered. I will most likely break all that I own out of the slabs anyway, so I was buying the coin, not the grade from those people.

I agree tights24 we must buy coins as we see them. Do not rely on what the seller or the grading agency says, buy the coin as you would grade it yourself.

Some info for you on CSI slabs

Here you go they can help you start your own grading service. The slabs in the picture are CSI slabs. So you figure anyone can slabem and sellem.
