I have this penny but the back is blank. Not sure if this is a misstamp, mint error or what. Can anyone help me with this? I'll try to upload the pic.

A completely blank back is not possible during the minting process, so it is most likely that someone ground or sanded the reverse of the coin off. Clearer pictures may help to prove this.

This coin should be far underweight from the normal weight of 3.11 grams. It has been ground down to remove the reverse. It is not an error coin.
Rest in Peace

to CCF jerubow64. Need better photos and the weight would help too. Does any one think there is an off chance it's a die cap?

Yeah, I found a 1982 with the reverse gone. I got excited when I found it but as soon as I weight it. (2.7 Grams and it is copper) I knew it was PMD. I still kept it!
