jarwulf Valued Member United States 163 Posts	Posted 10/16/2011 12:53 am Was at the pawn shop and I saw a 1993 silver eagle. Its been scratched up and bumped around a bit but the price was like 32-33 bucks. Should I go for it? How can I make sure I got a genuine one? Report this Post to the Staff

jarwulf Valued Member United States 163 Posts	Posted 10/20/2011 8:58 pm Went back and bought it for 33 bucks. First ASE ever. First silver coin above 1/2 dollar obtained. First silver purchase ever. I measured the coin dimensions and I had them weigh it although I couldn't see the machine readout the values checked out. There are premiums for certain years, proofs, reverse proofs, and some may have the reverse design from a previous year. All those I do not know.
