I'm debating whether or not to list some coins this week. Do I figure that potential buyers will have Christmas cash to spend, or is my target demographic reeling after overspending for the Holiday?

I'd be listing some of my duplicate 1921 VAM's, so the audience would be fairly specific. I don't expect any sale prices to approach $100. What do you think?

I'll be listing some stuff (no coins) scheduled to end late next week, and again for the following week. I'm trying to time it so the stuff sells before everyone's holiday credit card bills arrive

I was wondering that myself,Dave. Then I went ahead and listed a few, having them end on the 30th.The day before New Years Eve.I figured most will be home that day resting up for the next night.

Might be a good time to list some coins. Bargin hunters may bid more than they want or should on, or close to the holidays thinking of getting a bargin. I think you would do OK. I thought I would get some good coin buys this Easter. I bid on and watched coins that day go for more than normal.
Good Luck.

I have bought coins over the Christmas season on ebay and got them very cheap as it seemed a lot of collectors are on holiday and too busy with family to bid.

Since I only buy and never sell I can add this buyer's viewpoint. Remember that a fresh paycheck will be coming the Fri. after Xmas. With Xmas over and the monthly bills paid, I finally can spend some of that money on myself. What do I do? I usually buy coins of some sort and always on the weekend after Xmas. This has always been one of my little "traditions". Am I alone? I doubt it very much.
