I don't know what to say, just look at this thing NTC claims is a MS-63DMPL. I know you cant expect much from NTC but......well I can't say it because its a family forum

Thats true Bryan, but I have seen others graded by NGC and PCGS even worse than the one I posted. Don't get me wrong, I'm not standing up for NTC.I have never bought a coin "graded" by NTC and probably never will unless I can get it for melt price.I'm just saying there's some outrageously weak struck "O" Morgans out there graded in the MS range.
Rest in Peace

Metalman (Rick) is the expert on weak strike Mint State O Morgans.

I wouldn't trust NTC to get a grade right even if it had been in business a century. It certainly lends support to the concept of Federal regulation of the TPG industry.

NTC ms63dmpl. Cool, they must be using a 100 point scale!
From the images, which are poor, I see a slider.

Might as well. Everybody else is doing it.

But, one of these days, I'm gonna sneak over to NM and that 88-O is gonna turn up missing...

Whaddya have for sandwich stuff? I like salami, egg salad, liverwurst, and BLTs.

BTW, what will keep your Rotties from making a Fred sandwich?

That 88-O is the unmintiest Mint State I think any of us have ever seen. We'll never know how the O-mint people let that one slip by. It's really gotta be slabbed...

...leading into another subtopic: Before the Confederate government took over the New Orleans Mint in 1861, why didn't a local Union commander (or any other officer) take it upon himself to destroy the Mint's dies?
