my one and only purchase from the Bellaire coin show today.
There were a couple of other coins I was really interested in but not at almost 40% over grey sheet. Dealers seem less willing to negotiate this time than in previous shows.

Nice find, I would say this coin is XF from wear on OBV."we", and lines on the shield and and leaves, and wheat on rev.

My guess would be AU-50/53 with some slight rim damage .

Is that PMD on obverse rim around 2:00 or do you think something happened during minting? (I still have a hard time determining PMD!).

Its hard to tell unless you look at it from the side but it look like a dent from this angle.

Want to weigh in here.
From the images posted, this could be an MS60 Brown. But I need to see a couple of angle shots. Though the rim hits around 7 o'clock obverse bother me. They might tilt this to AU58. In any event, a NICE coin. May I ask what you paid for it?

I'm with JadeSpear on this, could go MS but looks like a touch of wear on the shield, rim hit doesn't help. Probably AU.
