I know some people sell a full box of new 2011 cents online for a premium. I have also seen postings on 2011 errors. My question is, which is the better to go for? Leave the box sealed or search them for errors?

I would say it is personal preference. I saved 2 rolls and went through a bunch trying to find a "near perfect" coin...I found a 2011P-1DO-006 in really good condition.

I think it depends. Are you a coin collector because you love the hobby or because you hope to make money?

I say open it up and look for errors and varieties and of coarse any high grade ones.
