Looks like a similar error to the one I posted about recently - although yours is in better condition than mine.
Congratulations on your find!

Nice find!

I've just gone through $10 of 5c and $10 of 10c and found absolutely nothing.

well done. It seems to me that 5-cent errors don't often come to light. Maybe we handle them less or pay less attention to them ?

Thank you, thank you
Peter I think you are right there, I had never paid much attention to my 5cents, and have read little about 5cent errors to collect.
I have however come across a few interesting coins today in my search through the 5's.
I hope to post my findings in the next few days.

You found several interesting coins in only $40 of 5 cent coins?
Sounds like you have been pretty lucky!

I agree with Nancy.
Even if there is nothing else, you have done well.

Aren't these called 'miss strike' errors or something?

Great find you have there.
I found a cracking $2 coin recently and I left it on the table to look at when I came home from work, little did my girlfriend know and she accidently spent it.....

Now time to start sorting my 5c coins I think as my bucket is getting full.

Gecko, How big is the bucket?

I'm slowly getting through my $100 in 5c, just a couple years to go. Heaps more 2006 than any other year.

Got a few errors to report when I'm done.

It's been so long since I got any bulk coins, I did not know they no longer have the cloth bags. Apparently all bulk coins are now in quite tough plastic bags now, at least at 'Which Bank' they are.
