This has been a perpetual hole in my type set. I balked at spending what an AU or MS coin would cost but this circulated example looks OK and the price was reasonable. How would you grade it?

There is a flattened spot on the edge of the reverse rim at 12:00. I don't think this would necessarily flag it as a problem coin if I submitted it for grading; what are your thoughts? Do you see any other problems?

Thanks for the input!

the hair, and clasp are there but worn, the eagles wings have details but show wear on the top the reverse rim either has a bad strike or some wear above the eagle. I dont know with the datails this one could be a XF maybe a 40.
Rest in Peace

ANACS did not think the rim problem was severe enough to note on the holder. VF-35:

I guess I was way off on this one, dang it, thought it looked worse than it probably is, photos can not tell everything yet. I see the jpeg artifacting real obvious in the slab photo, I wonder if that is making the toning look more like corossion on my screen? I also thought I saw a big ding on the reverse at 12:30 maybe was just a reflection from the lighting?
