4 idiotic bidders. Like I said, dig up a rock in your garden, put it on ebay as a gold nugget, you will have 25 bidders at auctions end, $2,000-$3,000 easy. Just make sure to specify "No Returns" and your set!

What in the world is that? I read his description, is it total garbage, or is this ?possibly? an error. I'm being honest here....it looks like a mutilated coin to me, but maybe it is some error, I've been wrong before.

I found one just like that once in a freshly "sealed" parking lot. I guess I should have hung on to it.

Misleading auctions like this only do harm to the error and variety coin community. It may sound like a joke, but in reality it is just another ploy to take money from the unknowing and undereducated coin collectors who dabble in error and variety coins and that is nothing but wrong.
No matter what fancy names that you apply to this piece of metal, it is nothing more than post production damage and not worth a cent.

Maybe I am wrong but I didn't think the mint sold rolls of dimes to anyone let alone the general public. Soooo wouldn't this fall under false advertising?

A "SNAIL ERROR" ? I suppose one has to be a "slow" person to bid on it. There is 4 bids as I post and it will cost the winner over $13.00 at this point to get it severely.

You're not wrong, the mint has never sold rolls of dimes. And what is a ballistic roll? A roll that contains one tone of dimes? (That being roughly the weight of a Ballistic Bag.)

I'm going to go home take a hand full of change and place them on my driveway and then run over them multiple times. I'll make a fortune!

It looks more to me like an even rarer I-95 "sidewalk" dime to me.
