If you have a macro setting on your camera (looks like a flower), use it. That will enable you to get close-ups. Your camera will need to be kept still, also. Any small movement will affect the focus. There is a link at the top of the posting box "Uploading Images" that will help you with the image requirements and procedures for uploading. Unfortunately, without pictures, we will not be able to help you verify whether this is a doubled die or not.

Thanks for advice, I'm trying to pull job off using my phone cam but theres no way my cam is gonna capture the coin details, I even tried getting it on video first so I could just screenshot if I have good enough image. would you recommend consulting a local coin dealer?

The 1969-S doubled die has one of the largest spreads in the entire Lincoln Cent series, there is no mistaking it when seen. If your coin does not look exactly like this one, then it is merely afflicted with very common Machine Doubling damage.

No, there are not. There are only two different verified doubled dies for all 1969S cents. The very strong one, and a very minor doubled die that mainly shows on the upper portion of the loop of the 9 of the date. Most collectors wouldn't even notice this one. 99.9% of all novice reports of a 'double die' on a 1969S cent are Machine Doubling because that is very prevalent on 1969S cents...and Machine Doubling does not command any premium.

I just found out about other forms of double dies that can easily be mistaken for the genuine doubling. This hobby just got just harder and more interesting. The website below shows some good examples under "Worthless Doubling" that noobies, like myself, can learn and be aware of. http://doubleddie.com/1801.html

Welcome to CC!
The correct term is DOUBLED DIE, not "double die".

It needs to match this 100%,if it doesn't ,then you have a regular 1969s.
