Poll Question
How many sets did you order (poll)? What percentage of the total sets will end up with us?

Voted 5, 1 will definitely stay in my collection, the others... we'll see.

Voted five. I will open one to gaze upon the beauty of the coins and leave the other four sets unopened. All with then go into the vault for long-time storage...

Two for me... I was just trying for the one, but after a second one ended up in my cart, I wasn't about to try and reduce it back to one! I haven't decided what will become of my second.

I am going to guess that those who successfully ordered more than 5, had an accomplice?

3 here, that was all we could get over the phone. Must have been the last ones they had.

Just "2" for me. The plan I normally do, is "keep one" and then get an extra one for "possible" sale in the future. The whole issue with grading them......probably won't work for me, because I have to have one Set in my collection...... just "have" to. Which will mean "opening" the Mint box upon arrival.

Got 5 sets. Thinking about sending one in to get graded. That will leave me with 4 each from the 20th and 25th anniversary sets.

I ordered 5 and it looks like my order is good. I ordered two ATB roll sets last week, just to make sure everything worked. I am really not sure what I will do with my 5 sets. I am thinking I will like to keep 2 sets long term. Talking with some others that ordered 5 sets, we might do something like send in one of our boxes as a group. Of course then we have to see who will get first pick of the graded sets. Have been wondering what percentage of these sets will be kept in private collection for long term and how many will be traded. Did a search on ebay for the Lincoln C&C set. Basic search shows 34 sets for sale, that set was 50,000 mintage but no unique coin in the set. A search of the 2006 20th set came up with just over 100 sets for sale. Would it be possible that in a year or so it might be harder to find these sets?

Quote: (Lincoln C&C) was 50,000 mintage but no unique coin in the set. The one "flaw" of that Set. It was all about the (outstanding) OGP) Now imagine if the C&C Set contained something like a (unique) 2009-S VDB Wheat cent. Even if they'd minted 484,000 of them...
