I would like to know if there is someone that would be able to tell me how much the dollar gold coins are worth.

Yes, the gold dollars (1849-1889) can fetch a lot . But I'll need details (date, photos too). The common ones, even if their worn conditions, can fetch over $140

Are you talking about the new golden-colored Presidential dollar coins? If so, they're worth $1 unless they are missing the edge lettering in which case the value increases quite a bit.

Some vintage gold one dollar coins are worth a lot in extra fine or better condition. One example would be the 1904-1905 Lewis and Clark Exposition coin, which can bring thousands in mint condition. A lot of people do think that the modern presidential series is made from gold, although it is actually a mixed metal gold look- alike.

He has another thread where he is asking about Sacagawea dollars. I'm pretty sure that is what he means here.

Well, if it is an actual circulating gold (not golden) coin, then http://www. (124) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed .com/gold_coin_values.html is the place to check the melt values, and the prices go upwards from there.

If you look at his other posts he's been asking about the Sacagawea. A 2000 P to be exact, that he's called the "year 2000 gold indian coin". Answers have been provided in this thread:
