It's weird, like 1/8th or 1/10th the thickness of a normal cent.

Moved.

As for the coin, my first thought was, "Help me, I'm mellllltingggg!". I'd suspect fire damage, or maybe someone having some fun with an oxy-acetylene torch.

It looks as if heat did that.

How could fire cause this. You could stack like 8 of these to make 1 normal penny.

Well see how it's like flattened on the obverse? My thoughts were it might've been heated up on like a metal table or soemthing and spread out thinner. What's the diameter? The rim's still there so I don't think it was acid. I thought it looked like fire damage because of how it's like crinkled on the bottom of the reverse as if it was fluid/molten.

But then again there are like holes eaten into it, so you never know it could've be acid and then fire!
