Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 10/29/2011 3:12 pm I'm not entirely sure what you mean -- the plating came off or it was never plated? Mint errors do have some value, but the zincolns seem to fall apart if you look at them for too long. Try putting up a picture and let the experts tell you what happened to your coin. If it is a mint error coin it is possible that it is worth a few dollars. Report this Post to the Staff
