Welcome to CC, Mika!

Your second coin is a 1998 10 Yuan silver bullion coin from the People's Republic of China. It is listed in Krause as Y#970. Krause shows the value as $40 in uncirculated. It also states that large and small date varieties exist but doesn't give any further details.

I'm not sure about your first one since it has no arabic date or numerals. My initial feeling is that it's a medal of some kind, but we have collectors here who are much better versed in these coins who will probably be able to give you better info.

The first one is definately a medal. The second one is like what Susan has said and probably the value is somewhat there. Welcome to coincommunity by the way.
