I have one quite similar that has each coins in its own little slot w/ date info and more info about the country/ which in my case the country was known as Siam then. I don't believe they are rare or even worth much money for the coins itself except for the rich cultural history of the country it self. these coins are all very nice but after several currency reforms, and their goverment making the paticular coinage null/and Void so to speak they have minimal Values to each Piece You Might be lucky to fetch $15.00 for the set give or take. Good Luck welcome to the forum, and Sorry For the bad News I wish I could of told you , you were rich afer viewing them SORRY!!

Those have been glued onto the cardboard, I understand? That tends to minimise their desirability as far as collectors are concerned. The coins themselves date back as far as the early 20th century - the ones with holes are all pre-war or during WWII. They're all fairly common types though; I doubt the folks that assembled the sets would have glued any rarities into them. As scoutjim says, keep it as a souvenir, by all means - but you'd probably be lucky getting what you paid for it back.

I have the same sort of thing, except with Mexican coins.

Not worth much, except they make a good souvenir.

You can tell that you bought it for 100 bahts, which is around 3USD or so. I don't think many of Thai coins have appericated in value except for the precious metals and official mintset otherwise, it's just a random typeset anyone can make.

Thanks for the info! My parents got them on a
"trip around the world" they won on a Dallas
radio station. I guess I will keep them for
the sentimental value, since that appears to
be all they have. :) Thanks again
